Prestige is the fame that has a faction with respect to all other factions and people of the universe. It is the main value that determines a player's score. Other values that determine the score are the fleet, economy, technology and population.
Prestige can be won in several ways:
- Doing faction or consortium missions.
- Controlling enclaves.
- Maintaining the sovereignty of systems.
For each prestige point, an "influence" point is gained. The points of influence can be exchanged by settlers, money or special objects like single installations or accelerators.
