Consumer goods are objects demanded and consumed by the settlers of your faction. They are consumed directly from the base warehouse. It is possible to make a lot of money with consumer goods if you manage to manage the entire production and distribution cycle well. It must be taken into account that it can often be profitable to sell surpluses at a reasonable price if we have a production capacity much higher than what our own population can buy.

Demand

The amount of consumer goods purchased depends on the number of potential buyers and the type of goods.

Effect on wealth

Some consumer goods develop the colony and increase wealth.

Happiness

The presence of consumer goods on a base increases happiness. The effect is cumulative, so the bonus of each type available on a base adds up.
