Consumer goods are objects demanded and consumed by all citizens of the faction. They are consumed directly from the base warehouse. It is possible to make a lot of money with consumer goods if you manage to manage the entire production and distribution cycle well. It should be noted that it can often be profitable to sell surpluses at a reasonable price if we have a production capacity much higher than what our own population can buy.
