Atmospheric processors are huge machines that filter thousands of tons of gases from a planet's atmosphere to get their valuable resources. They can only be installed on space stations orbiting a Jovian planet.
They work just like planetary mines, being able to extract any kind of resource that the planet contains. Generally, the abundant resources in a gaseous giant will be [inert gases] and water.
