Space shipyards are gigantic structures where components are built and assembled to build ships. The shipyards can accumulate jobs in queue, reason why once finished the manufacture of a ship, the shipyard will begin to work in the following one.

The shipyards have a maximum ship size that they can manufacture. Larger chassis ships will require a larger shipyard.

The speed with which a shipyard builds a ship depends on its production. The larger this is, the faster the process will be. The shipyard is trained to build the necessary modules that are not available in the base warehouse, increasing the total construction time.

The shipyards can build any ship design, even those that include modules not fabricated by the faction. However, since it is not able to manufacture these modules, they must be available in the base warehouse at the time the manufacturing process is created.

Manufacturing process

The manufacturing process begins with the creation of a ship model on the ship design screen. The available designs are displayed on the shipyard's screen, if we have sufficient resources, crew and modules

Accelerators

It is possible to accelerate the manufacturing time of a ship if there is some assembly accelerator.
