Planet
Planetary system with moons

Planemos are celestial bodies of mass greater than an asteroid but not enough to be able to initiate the nuclear reactions that would turn it into a star. The planets and the moons are planemos.

Planes can be telluric if they have a rigid surface where a planetary base can be installed, or Jovian if they have a liquid surface. In general, Jovian planets are usually gaseous giants.

Planets

The planets are the planets that have an orbit around the star. They can be telluric (with a solid surface) or jovianos (gaseous).

Moons

Moons are the planemos that orbit planets, creating planetary systems. A planet can have a maximum of two moons. Moons are always telluric, smaller than their planets and sometimes have lower resources.

Environment

In the case of telluric planets, the hardness of the environment determines the type of planetary base that can be built. Types of environment:

Optimal
The bases that are built in optimal environments do not need a dome that protects its inhabitants from the radiation and atmospheric conditions. They allow the great scale to be built in the likeness of the cities of the Earth.
Benign
Benign environments indicate a kind of planemo where a light space suit is sufficient to be able to move on its surface. The bases are usually protected by a dome and all rooms must be sealed and pressurized to ensure comfortable living. Geographic features are often used to protect the base.
Hostile
Planets with hostile environment have conditions that require strong security measures to preserve human life. It is possible that the planet has no atmosphere or it is very toxic, or it may receive a lot of radioactivity. The bases must be strongly reinforced, often underground.
Severe
Severe conditions on a planet force the use of advanced technology to allow it to stay on its surface. There are planets with such radioactivity that they could fry any kind of electronic circuit that is not well protected. There are corrosive atmospheres that require special materials. A human being would not have time to agonize because his death would occur almost instantaneously.
The environment of a planemo will depend on the base environment of its class below modified by other conditions like proximity to the sun, atmosphere, etc ...

Types of planemos

Each type of planemo has a basic abundance of each resource. However, the final value may vary up or down. In the case of being a moon, you are more likely to have fewer resources.
