Changes

  • Reduced the weapon size penalty vs. ship from -20% to -15%.
  • M weapons are now 5 anti-assault fire, and S are 10.
  • Balanced weapon damage.
  • Change in damage and new specialization for 800mm and 1200mm armament prepared to attack XS and S chassis respectively.
  • Increased gas costs of various modules.
  • Increased chance of finding planemos with rare resources during exploration.
  • Some technological branches have been rearranged so that advanced modules require the equivalents of previous branches, such as those for power reactors, habitats and life support.
  • Added Plasma Lambda requirement to labs more advanced than Class 2.
  • Reduced the costs of antimatter reactor technologies.
  • Removed gravitonium requirement for GRAV fusion reactors.
  • Added rare resource requirement to various consumer goods. Increased your base economic benefit per sale.
  • Reduced research costs for neutron propulsion engines.
  • Reduced research costs for Planck motors.

Score and prestige

Removed "influence". Eliminated influence cost to buy leaders, which will now be 48 times their price per hour. Removed the Stranet Market to purchase unique items. Unique items can now be earned through new mega projects or by capturing existing settlements.

New achievements

New types of achievements such as SOVEREIGN or EMPIRE have been added and the screen has been redone. Now there will be a multitude of accomplishments that can be accomplished to earn a generous amount of prestige.

Medals

The faction screen now has an account tab that allows you to see who is the player that controls the faction (if it is not hidden) and the corresponding medals for victories or participation in other games.

Colonies and habitats

For clarity the habitats have been modified to have a negative popular support modifier instead of the colony having the modifier "colony size" which increases with population size. More advanced habitats will have a higher capacity while maintaining the same popular support penalty, making it easier to maintain larger populations. In this way, better habitats not only provide capacity, they also indirectly support popular support.

Because there will now be better and worse habitats, a tab has been included in the colony where you can see the habitats that exist, and a button has been included to destroy them.

Faction characteristics

A new set of features has been added that will provide advantages (and handicaps) to factions. Each faction begins with two faction characteristics (specific to the type of faction) and can gradually acquire new ones as it gains prestige.

Forsaken Faction

A new type of faction called "renegade" is added that has "dark" characteristics such as control of corsairs, etc ...

Discord sync

An interface has been included to enter the Discord user code and link it to the account. This can be done either from the main page web or from the faction screen in any game. A new bot will activate different roles for the games giving special permissions for the server channels.
