Basic resources are objects that form the raw material for the manufacture of more advanced objects such as modules or consumer goods, are therefore the basis of the industry.

There are two types: planetary resources and special resources.

Basic resources

They can be extracted from planets and asteroids. Their abundance will depend on the type of star on which they are found, although in general, metals, silicates and water are the most frequent. Almost all advanced objects require more or less significant planetary resources. For the mined of planets will be used Planetary mine installed in planetary bases. For mines of asteroids should be used fleets with mining capacity.

Special Resources

Due to their rarity, they can only be found in some places of the universe, in certain enclaves. Special resources allow the manufacture of special types of objects that are usually more advanced. However, an entire economic and industrial system can be built without making the least use of special resources. These resources can be obtained through the Stellar Trading Network or as a reward in some missions.
