The laboratories are centers of investigation where the science and technology of the faction is generated. Each laboratory is specialized in one or more technological branches. The production capacity in a branch is determined by its multiplier. The higher this is, the greater the speed of research of technologies of said branch.

Each laboratory can research one technology at a time. A queuing technology can be assigned whose research will begin when the ongoing research is completed.

The laboratories are very expensive modules. Plan your economy well before investing in new research labs.
